If you need a repeat prescription (medication that has already been prescribed to you by your GP and that you should continue to use), please utilise one of the two methods listed below. This assists us in improving the telephone accessibility of our practice for patients who need to make appointments.
a) Send an email to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
b) Or use the repeat prescription line by calling the general number of the practice and select option 2
Please provide the following information in this specific order which you can easily find on your existing medicine boxes:
• Your date of birth;
• Your name;
• The medicine required;
• The medicine dosage;
• The medicine amount
If you are leaving a voicemail speak slowly and clearly so that the assistant can understand your message.
Keep in mind that it takes 1 working day for the medication to be ready at the pharmacy. If you request your prescription before noon, you can pick up your medication from the pharmacy the next working day after 3 p.m.
In urgent cases you can order your medication directly from the assistant.
