In our practice, Marloes Zomer and Mieke Özcan work as practice assistants supporting the GPs and performing a number of practical tasks under their supervision.
Marloes and Mieke are nurses who have received additional training and are primarily responsible for the care of people with long-term, chronic disorders – for example diabetes, hypertension, asthma and COPD.
They also offer support, counseling and periodic checks – for example lab tests or lung function tests – as well as home visits among the elderly and the long-term sick.
